FAQ's
What is the youngest age you teach pottery wheel throwing?
- 11 years old for the Mini Wheel Throwing class (3 classes) - 15 years old for Beginning and Continuing Wheel Throwing class (7 weeks) Because of the hand strength, focus and patience required, we don't offer the 7 week wheel throwing lessons for anyone under 15 years of age. However, we do offer a mini wheel throwing class (3 classes ) for 11 years on up. Hand-building class is available for all ages and is a great activity for families, couples - date night - or a girls night out.
Would you fire pieces made outside of class?
At this time we are only firing pieces made by students.
I'm an experienced potter, can I just pay to use your studio?
At this time we do not have the space to rent out our studio, and must limit our space for students to learn and experiment. We also do not allow "production pottery," as in work to sell.

1st class but so much fun! Easy and comfortable setting and very hands on right from the get go. Can't wait for class 2, next week!

This class is amazing! Veronica keeps the environment loose and fun - and does a great job of teaching the basics of throwing and using a pottery wheel. She's super encouraging and supportive as you learn the skills and try them out for yourself. I look forward to it every week!
